Hi there!!
My name is Javier Moratilla Heras, a Spain-based artist with a strong focus on storytelling and worldbuilding.
I’m into visual development, background design, and anything that involves building worlds from the ground up. I also explore comics as a way to experiment with narrative and visual ideas.
I absolutely LOVE history, architecture, romcoms, and music, influences that naturally find their way into my work.
I pitched my project The Fast Way (TV series) at Cartoon Springboard 2023 and Animario 2024 (you can check it in the Personal IPs tab), gaining experience presenting and developing ideas in a professional context.
I’ve also been developing my own world, Svodiak, for nearly 14 years, which I recently started sharing online.
Currently focused on growing as a visual development and background artist within the animation industry.
